Baseball Tigers bag their first win of the season over Kasson-Mantorville

It was a week of ups and downs for the Lake City High School baseball team — the good, the bad, and the ugly.
After squeaking past perennial conference and section power Kasson-Mantorville 5-4 last Thursday the Tigers lost 14-1 to a strong Prescott, Wis. team in the first round of Saturday’s Lake City Invitational.  The Tigers rebounded nicely however in Saturday’s second game with a solid 5-2 win over Sibley East.
