Bowlers’ comeback comes up short against Winona

This past weekend the Lake City High School coed Tigers bowling team traveled to Winona for their matches.

The varsity bowled Winona first in a battle of two of the top ten ranked teams in the state.

The Tigers started slow, losing the first two games. They would come back and win the next two to tie it up. But Winona won the last game to get the win.

“It was a great early matchup with four of the five games decided by four pins or less.” The kids never gave up after being down 2-0,” coach John O’Flaherty said.
