Bowling banquet caps successful season

On Monday,March 6, the Lake City Tiger girls bowling team and their families gathered at Port 104 to celebrate the year.

The Tigers had a second place finish at state the previous weekend. They ended the regular season ranked seventh in state and second in the Southeast Conference. Their average for the year was 166.95. They had a high game of 243 and a high series of 918.

The Tigers were led by captains senior Resa Laqua and sophomore Hailey Wimmer who were also named the team’s Most Valuable Players.
