Gastner joins 1,000 point club

Reid Gastner scored a career-high 29 points, including the 1,000th of his career in the second half as Lake City blew out Red Wing 83-61 Saturday night at Lincoln High School. Gastner becomes just the ninth player in school history to reach the plateau, doing so on a back door layup on a feed from Nathan Heise. Gastner and Heise became the first duo in school history to reach the 1,000 point mark in the same season.
