Boys basketball defeats Zumbrota-Mazeppa

Nathan Heise scored 23 points and Jake Wohlers set a career-high with 17 points to help guide Lake City to a 67-54 win at Zumbrota-Mazeppa in the conference opener for both teams Dec. 4.
The Tigers trailed 8-2 early on as the offense struggled to find a rhythm. Heise caught fire netting three straight triples in a 1:20 stretch to give Lake City its first lead at 13-10 with 11:04 to play in the first half.
