Boys basketball falls short in match up with Waseca

The Lincoln High School gymnasium saw its largest crowd in 15 years as one of the most anticipated games of the season lived up to the billing when second-ranked Waseca visited third-ranked Lake City last Tuesday night.
Nathan Heise tied a career-high with 39 points, but it wasn’t enough as Waseca used a 23-11 run over the final seven minutes to pull away for a 79-66 victory and end the Tigers 24-game home winning streak, which dated back to Jan. 9, 2018.
