The Lincoln High School gymnasium saw its largest crowd in 15 years as one of the most anticipated games of the season lived up to the billing when second-ranked Waseca visited third-ranked Lake City last Tuesday night.
Nathan Heise tied a career-high with 39 points, but it wasn’t enough as Waseca used a 23-11 run over the final seven minutes to pull away for a 79-66 victory and end the Tigers 24-game home winning streak, which dated back to Jan. 9, 2018.
