Boys defeat Pine Island to advance to Section 1AA semis

Hunter Lorenson scored a career-high 28 points, 21 of which came in a dominant second half as Lake City defeated Pine Island 50-35 in the Section 1AA Quarterfinals at the Mayo Civic Center Arena last Wednesday night.
Keegan Ryan opened the scoring on the initial possession of the game with a layup, but the Tigers managed just one point on a free throw by Jaden Shones over the next six minutes as Pine Island held an early 6-3 lead.
