Boys golf competes in HVL championship

The Lake City Tigers boys golf team competed in the Hiawatha Valley League conference championship May 23, placing eighth with a 387.
Lake City was led by Tate Gnotke with a 93, followed by Marty Greer 97, Evan Huettl 98, Sam Fitterer 99, Noah Wallerich 101 and Thomas Frank 102.
The boys varsity section meet was held Tuesday at Cannon Falls Golf Course. Meet results were not in at press time.
