Boys golfers finish third in conference
The Lake City Tiger boys golf team had two events this past week.
The first event on Monday, May 20 at Northern Hills Golf Course, got off to a late start due to storms in the morning but cleared up, and it was a really nice day for golf. It was the fourth and final round of the Hiawatha Valley League (HVL) Conference Meet. The Tigers ended up finishing third in the Conference behind Pine Island-Zumbrota-Mazeppa (PIZM) and Stewartville.
Thursday, the boys invited Owatonna and Red Wing for an event at The Jewel.
