Boys open the season with 2-5 loss to Winona
The 2025 Lake City High School boys tennis team opened its regular season up with a match versus Winona Senior High. The team lost the match 2-5.
Jack Meincke won at 1 Singles 7-5, 7-6 (0) along with Patrick Kennedy and Maddox Shones at 1 Doubles 6-3, 7-6 (7) for Lake City.
The team is preparing for a busy season with 2-3 matches each week.
This week they played Ellsworth at home on Monday, at Rochester Lourdes Tuesday, and at Baldwin-Woodville on Thursday.
