Boys soccer edges Kasson-Mantorville
The Lake City High School boys soccer team is off to an early season winning streak following a 5-4 win over Kasson-Mantorville (K-M) Aug. 29 at home.
The score was tied 0-0 at halftime.
Lake City scored the first two goals of the contest and were led by Luke Meincke with three goals for the night. Jacob Sanders and Charlie White added one goal apiece.
Scoring for K-M were Aaron Struckmann with two goals and Brandon Nino and Nathan Loy with one apiece.
Satchell Ekblad was on goal for the Tigers with 18 saves.
