Boys soccer keeps winning streak alive
The Lake City High School boys soccer team continues their winning streak following a 3-2 win over Dover-Eyota (D-E) Aug. 31 at home.
The score was tied 1-1 at halftime.
Standout Luke Meincke opened the scoring for Lake City with an assist from Jacob Sanders. Lake City’s two other strong scorers, Charlie White, with an assist from Wyatt Becker, and Jacob Sanders, with an assist from Luke Meincke, rounded out the scoring column.
Scoring for D-E was Payton Schott with both goals.
Satchell Ekblad was on goal for the Tigers with 20 saves.
