Boys soccer team faces defending state champs in season opener

The Lake City High School boys soccer program kicked off their season with a home game against the defending state champions, St. Charles. The varsity team lost 2-9.

Warren Stoltz recorded the first goal of the Tiger season. Warren battled for the ball against a St. Charles defender leading to an unassisted, breakaway goal at the end of the first half. Adrian Lopez added a goal to the score sheet in the second half when he headed the ball in on a cross from Warren Stoltz.
