Boys soccer team shuts out Plainview-Elgin-Millville

The Lake City High School boys soccer team played against Plainview-Elgin-Millville on Sept. 23. Warren Stolz put Lake City on the scoresheet first with a goal in the first half assisted by Adrian Lopez. Benny Lopez brought the team to a 2-0 lead when he scored on a free kick late in the second half. Tiger defense held off the Bulldog attacks for the remainder of the game. The varsity team had 6 blocked shots and goaltender Adam Bolduan secured a clean sheet with 8 saves.

The junior varsity (JV) team lost 0-2 against Plainview-Elgin-Millville.
