Boys soccer team ties twice
On Monday evening, Oct. 3, the Tigers were in St. Charles for a non-conference match. The Saints scored early in the first half and continued to push offensively, but the senior-led Tiger defense held tough again and again.
With nine minutes left in the first half, junior forward Luke Meincke put Lake City on the board with an assist from junior midfielder Brendan Koplin. That would be the end of the scoring in regulation and the Tigers were facing yet a other tie.
