Boys soccer ties one, loses one

Boys soccer kicked off this past week with an away game against Cannon Falls. The Varsity game ended with a tie 0-0.

Coach Patrick Palmer said the Tigers played well against a defense they have never encountered before. The team found the right combination of players and tactics late in the second half, but there was not enough time to score a goal to secure a win.

The team went on to play Lourdes last Thursday. The Tigers were unable to come out on top with a loss of 1-4. Lake City’s only goal was scored by Thomas Brand on a penalty kick.
