Boys spread offense around in 68-44 win over Pine Island
Four Lake City players reached double figures as the Tigers led from start to finish in a lopsided 68-44 win over Pine Island last Tuesday night at Lincoln High School.
Jaden Shones opened the scoring with a layup in transition before a strong start by Rylee Fick helped the Tigers race to a 16-9 lead after just six minutes of play. Fick hit a pair of free throws, scored on an offensive putback and backed his man down in the post before hitting a turn around jumper to ignite the offense.
