Boys tennis outplays Stewartville 5-2

The Lake City Tigers boys tennis team traveled to Stewartville for a rematch May 2 and came away victors 5-2.
In singles bracket play, Mitch Medvec led the way with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles.
Mitch is currently ranked No. 6 in Class A by the Minnesota Tennis Coaches Association.
Alex Holmgren edged out a 7-5 win in the first set and then finished off the point with a 6-1 win in the second at No. 2 singles.
Ryan Heise found his groove at No. 3 singles, stroking out a 6-1, 6-1 win.
At No. 4 singles, Joey Nafe won the point 6-3, 6-4.
