Boys tennis wins first match under new head coach

Under new head coach Nick Dudley the Lake City Boys Tennis hosted Red Wing on Monday, April 4, and came away with a 4-3 win to open the season.

Number 1 singles, Ryan Heise dropped his first set 4-6 but rallied back to take the next two, 6-0 and 6-4, and secure his first win of the season. Number 2 singles, Trey Meincke, dropped his match 3-6, 2-6. Number 3 singles, Elijah Miller, and Number 4, Alec McElmury, took decisive 2 set wins, 6-1, 6-2 and 6-0, 6-0 respectively.
