Boys varsity and JV golf teams win home HVL meet
The Lake City boys golf teams competed in two events last week and came away winners in both.
On May 15, 17 non-varsity golfers traveled to Dodge Country Club to compete in the Triton Invitational. Golfers from nine area schools were there with over 130 individuals competing. The event was organized by flights, and Tiger golfers placed in two of the three flights. In the second flight, Evan Huettl placed second by shooting a 45 while Nate Klipfel and Tanner Frank captured first and second place in the first flight by carding scores of 40 and 41.
