Boys win much anticipated rematch against Goodhue

Droves of fans descended upon the Lincoln High School gymnasium Friday night for a boys’ basketball matchup between fourth-ranked Goodhue and second-ranked Lake City that garnered state-wide attention with first place in the Hiawatha Valley League at stake. A 15-2 run by Lake City to open the second half proved to be the difference as the Tigers withstood a furious rally by the Wildcats to win 58-53.
