Bremer recognized for 1,000 college career points

On March 27, in last season’s National Final Four game against Cal State San Marcos, Lake City native Natalie Bremer became one of the fastest players in Minnesota State history to reach 1,000 career points.

She ended the game against the Cougars with a season-high 29 points. In doing so, she became the 26th Maverick to join the 1,000-point club.

Bremer and the Mavericks went on to win the NCAA Division 2 national championship.

Bremer, a junior this season, ranks 24th in all-time points in program history with 1,032 points.
