Bulldogs spoil Tiger football team’s homecoming hopes

Eighth-ranked Plainview-Elgin-Millville scored 19 points in the final 5:31 as the Bulldogs emerged victorious 37-18 over Lake City to spoil homecoming last Friday night.

An electric 57-yard touchdown run by Jaden Shones forged a tie at 18 with 10:46 remaining but the Bulldogs would score three touchdowns late in the fourth quarter to pull out the victory.
