On a career night, Hegge scores go-ahead basket in in 61-58 victory

Colter Hegge scored a career-high 23 points, including the go-ahead basket with 40 seconds to play as the Lake City High School boys basketball team edged Winona Cotter/Hope Lutheran 61-58 last Monday night at Winona State University.

Alec McElmury scored the final five points of a 12-3 run by Lake City to open the game over the first six minutes. A basket in the paint by Hegge gave the Tigers an 18-7 lead midway through the first half before the Ramblers would rally, knocking down a trio of tripes to pull within four.
