Christy Rice of Lake City sets bench press record at Arnold Sports Festival
Christy Rice competed at the Arnold Sports Festival, Masters Pro Series Bench Finals for the second year in a row on March 1, placing 2nd in her division and establishing a new Minnesota State Record and American Record in the 60 kg (132.3 lb), Master’s 1 (40-49 year old) with a final bench press of 215 lbs.
The Arnold Sports Festival was comprised of over 50 different sports. Rice received an invitation to compete at the Arnold due to her first place achievement at bench nationals last August.
