With the season hanging in the balance, Hunter Lorenson scored seven points in the final minute of regulation as Lake City dug deep to force overtime against Pelican Rapids in the 2024 Minnesota Class AA State Quarterfinals at Target Center. The Tigers depth and experience then paid off as they dominated the four-minute extra session, out-scoring the Vikings 12-1 for a thrilling 72-61 victory.
A tense first few minutes played out between the two sides as the score was tied at four after four minutes of action.
