Cook named Section 1A girls Coach of the Year

Lake City cross country coach Howie Cook has been named Coach of the Year for Section 1A girls cross country for the 2019 season by his coaching peers, a repeat of the title from last year. The Minnesota Coaches Association sponsors this award. Cook led the Lake City boys and girls cross country teams to team titles at Section 1A and both teams are headed to state Nov. 2.
