Cotter hands Tiger girls their first loss of the season

The Lake City High School girls basketball team dropped to 1-1 Dec. 3 with a 45-58 loss on the road to Winona Cotter.

“Tonight was a hard-fought game for Lake City,” Tiger coach Drew Olinger said. “Cotter was able to control the tempo from the start and with that they out-executed us throughout the entire game.”

Lake City’s offensive struggles against Cotter’s defensive pressure compounded problems rebounding and shooting three-pointers, according to Olinger.
