Craig Kennedy to be the new voice of Tiger sports
Craig Kennedy expected his broadcasting career to be over by now.
It was family connections that drew him into doing play-by-play for the Lake City High School boys basketball team about a decade ago.
His uncle, Shawn Sweeney, was the head coach, and the two talked about how they could bring the games to television on the school district’s cable channel.
His cousin, Coleman Sweeney, was a long-time starter for the Tigers before graduating in 2013 and going on to play college basketball at Gustavus Adolphus.
