Cross country 2nd, 4th at W-K Gallop

The Lake City Tiger cross country team started the season in the 12-team Wabasha Gallop on Aug. 28.  
The girls came away with a second place finish in a race won by Red Wing and the boys placed fourth in a race also won by Red Wing.  The junior high boys ran an incomplete team, and the junior high girls tied for second.  
The boys’ varsity was led by Hunter Grimm’s 13th place.  The next four Tigers were in a tight group with Ben Johnson in 26th, Reese Anderson, 27th; Nash Nelson, 28th; and Joey Kozlowski in 30th.
