Cross country gets three 2nds at Gallop

The Lake City Tiger cross country team started the season with three solid second place finishes in the three team races they competed in at the 11-team Wabasha-Kellogg Gallop on Monday, Aug. 27.  Both varsities placed behind class AA Red Wing, and the junior high girls were a close second to a co-op from all over southeast Minnesota.  Coming into the varsity boys’ race, Red Wing was ranked fifth in class AA, and Plainview-Elgin-Millville (PEM) was ranked 11th in class A.
