Dance - High kick takes 6th, jazz 11th at state
Two Lake City High School dance teams competed at the state tournament last weekend in Edina.
On March 12, the jazz dance team placed 11th with their dance to “Kings and Queens.” This was the first time a Lake City jazz dance team qualified for state.
The following day, the high kick dance team took sixth place performing a “Mamma Mia” themed dance with Abba music.
Lake City dance teams are coached by Ashley Harkins, Alexis Dugstad, Sunday Robertson, and Korissa Atkinson.
