Difficult conditions as girls open golf season with home invite

The Lake City girls golf team (LC) opened up their season in difficult playing conditions during the 36th annual Lake City Invite.
The tournament was loaded with competitive teams as seven of the the sixteen teams in the event had qualified for the state tournament in 2023. The 95 players in the field battled gusty northwest winds and cool temperatures during the opener for the LC squad.
