Fall trap shooting season being organized

Lincoln High School will be offering fall trap shooting this fall open to all girls and boys seventh through 12th grade with firearm safety certificates. Students at all ability levels are welcome.

Registration will be at the beginning of August in the activities department. Participants must provide their own firearm.

Practices and matches will be held at Dumfries Sportsman’s Club Sunday afternoons starting in September.

Lake City’s first-ever trap shooting team competed last spring. The team now will compete both in spring and fall.
