Five wrestlers earn places at Woodbury
The Lake City wrestling team placed five wrestlers in the top seven in their brackets, and as a team they finished 11th out of 18 teams in Saturday’s East Ridge Ruckus Tournament in Woodbury.
Carl Kozlowski went 4-1 on the day to claim fifth place at 145 pounds, while Ryan Hanson posted a 3-1 record to place fifth at 182 pounds. Also placing fifth was Jeremy Keller who won two out of three at 113 pounds. Denilzo Baltazar won three and lost two to place seventh at 132, and Tanner Frank went 1-2 (after a first round bye) to finish fourth at 106.
