Football players attend summer camps as season nears
With the fall season right around the corner, Lake City football players in grades seven through 12 have taken part in team camps during the last two weeks in July.
Players entering seventh and eigth grade participated in the junior high camp during the evenings of July 17 through 20.
Players in ninth through 12th grade camped the week of July 24.
That camp culminated with Lewiston-Altura, Red Wing and Wabasha-Kellogg coming to town to participate in common drill work, seven-on-seven passing scrimmages and full team scrimmages.
