Football season ends with section semifinal loss to Stewartville

Lake City saw its 2024 season end Saturday afternoon with a 54-0 loss at Stewartville in the section 1AAA semifinals. Stewartville scored all 54 points in the first half, en route to its 24th straight victory.
The host Tigers completed a 60-yard double-pass for a touchdown on the first play from scrimmage and led 8-0 just 11 seconds into the game.
