Football: Stewartville dominant in 57-7 victory over Lake City
Top ranked Stewartville continued its dominant season Friday night as they defeated Lake City 57-7 to record their 30th straight regular season victory, dating back to 2020.
Stewartville used numerous big plays to score in bunches, and opened the scoring with a 43-yard touchdown pass from Vincent Wellik to Minnesota State Mankato commit Parker Wangen. After recovering an onsides kick, Stewartville would score on the next play from scrimmage on a 43-yard run by Abdimalik Abdi and a two-point conversion quickly made it 16-0.
