Football Tigers clip Wingers 45-8
Lake City scored in all three phrases as the Tigers spoiled homecoming in Red Wing with a 45-8 blowout victory on Friday night.
Red Wing enjoyed early momentum as they intercepted Justin Wohlers on the second play from scrimmage after a tipped ball. The Wingers advanced into the red zone but a key holding penalty forced a punt. Lake City would then drive nearly the length of the field before turning the ball over on downs at the Wingers 16-yard line as time wound down in the opening period of play.
