Football Tigers fall to Breck in section playoffs

A pandemic shortened 2020 football season reached its conclusion Friday night in Golden Valley as Breck defeated Lake City 35-21 in the section 4AAA playoffs. Junior quarterback Justin Wohlers accounted for three touchdowns, but it was not enough for the Tigers as they closed the campaign with a 2-4 record.
The Mustangs opened the scoring as Charlie Ryks connected with Jack McKenna for a 15-yard touchdown with 53 seconds to play in the opening quarter.
