Football Tigers fall to No. 2 ranked Chatfield
Second-ranked Chatfield stayed unbeaten with a 48-20 road victory at Lake City last Friday night as the Gophers rattled off 36 straight unanswered points in the first half.
Lake City opened the game by forcing a turnover on downs before grabbing an early lead. The Tigers moved the ball into the red zone behind 19 yards rushing from Asher Bee. The drive would stall and senior Ethen Brunkow came on to boot a 31-yard field goal to put Lake City in front 3-0 with 4:41 to play in the opening period.
