Football: Tigers fall to Ramblers 53-22

Lake City was unable to keep up with a potent Cotter offense as the Tigers suffered their first defeat of the season to the Ramblers 53-22 Friday night at Winona State University.

The Ramblers scored just 40 seconds into the game on a 21-yard run by quarterback Dane Guzzo. A two-point conversion attempt was foiled by the Tigers however.

Lake City put together a promising 12-play drive that moved the ball inside the Cotter 10-yard line but a fumble on fourth down gave the ball back to the Ramblers.
