Football Tigers succumb to Cannon Falls’ offensive bombardment

Cannon Falls scored on eight of its nine possessions and piled up 541 rushing yards in a 56-20 victory over Lake City Friday night at John Burch Park.

The Tigers got off to a great start, marching 60 yards in just five plays to take an early lead as Carter Hagedorn found the end zone from 11 yards out. Carson Matzke booted the extra point to put Lake City in front 7-0 just 2:16 into the contest.
