Four boys score double figures in victory over Zumbrota-Mazeppa

Four Lake City players reached double figures as the Lake City High School boys basketball team remained unbeaten on the season with a 67-62 victory over Zumbrota-Mazeppa in front of the largest regular season crowd in three years Friday night at Lincoln High School.

The Tigers scored the first seven points of the game, holding the Cougars scoreless for the first 4:39 before a pair of free throws by Kayden Rodrick got the visitors on the scoreboard. Ryan Heise had nine early points as Lake City was in full control early, leading 21-6 with 8:58 to play until halftime.
