Four cross country runners advance to state meet

The Tiger harriers competed at Northern Hills on Thursday in Rochester. At stake in this Section 1A race were team state advancements as well as individual advancements.

When the tallies came in the boys’ team was fourth out twenty-three teams, and two boys had advanced individually.

The girls ran next and finished third just missing the number two advancement place. The girls also had two individuals advance. This was the thirty-seventh time in thirty-eight years where at least a Tiger runner, team, or both has advanced to the state meet.
