With full lineup, matmen split

The Lake City Tiger wrestling team split a home triangular with Hiawatha Valley League (HVL) opponents last Thursday, losing, as expected, to second ranked Kenyon-Wanamingo 64-5, then bouncing back to defeat Pine Island 37-34.
For the first time this season the Tigers fielded a full lineup against the powerhouse Knights from Kenyon-Wanamingo (K-W), and although it wasn’t expected to alter the outcome in any way, it did make the visitors fight for every match, and the dual lasted a full hour and 25 minutes.
