Girls’ season ends with smiles, sixth place finish at state meet

The University of Minnesota cross country course is a series of continually rolling hills the entire race. There is no portion of it that you can relax and catch your breath if you go into oxygen debt. The young Tigers handled it like veterans and were attacking beginning to finish at the State Class A meet.
The Tiger girls came in unranked and finished the day as the number six team out of the best sixteen teams in the state.
