Girls advance in section tourney with win over Triton
On Thursday, Feb. 23, the Tiger girls basketball team hosted Triton for the first round of the section 1AA tournament.
It was a very back and forth 1st half. Right before halftime Lake City went on a run to extend the lead to 10, 33-23.
The second half had many similarities to the first.
Both teams went on runs and it was again very back and forth. Both teams had many opportunities but the Tigers were able to take advantage down the stretch and come out ahead with a final push to prevail 56-46.
