Girls basketball holds year-end awards banquet

The Lake City Tigers girls basketball team held their year end banquet on Friday, March 6.   The girls had a great season and should be proud of all their accomplishments.
For the first time since 1984, the Tigers had back-to-back 20-win seasons and ended this year with a record of 22-6 overall.   They were also back-to-back Hiawatha Valley League (HVL) Blue Division champs. They tied the record for fewest turnovers as a team with five against Pine Island. The previous record was set against Zumbrota-Mazeppa during the 2014-15 season.
