Girls basketball wins 1, loses 2

The Lake City High School girls basketball team finds itself on a two-game skid heading into the third week of the regular season.

The Tigers began the week with a big win over Chatfield, 65-31, on Dec. 8.

Daynalyn Jostock led Lake City with 28 points and 14 rebounds. Allison Kubista made five threes for 15 points. She also had five steals. Julia Anderson scored 13. Deandra Oelkers had seven assists and three points.

Lake City’s luck changed the following night against Hayfield.
